About Bob LaFerriere

During his 18 month tour of duty in the Vietnam War, Bob LaFerriere flew a “Bird Dog” O-1 single engine prop aircraft and served as a Forward Air Controller directing Marine, Air Force and Navy fighter jet airstrikes.  He was selected to be the personal pilot of the I Corps Commanding General, Richard G. Stillwell, flying his U-21 King Air throughout Southeast Asia. Bob resigned his commission as a Captain in 1972, having earned The  Distinguished Flying Cross, Bronze Star, 19 Air Medals, and the Vietnamese Cross of Gallantry.

Bob began his aircraft sales career in 1972 with Page Beechcraft, Inc., one of the largest Beech Aircraft dealers at the time.  That year he made his first customer delivery over a luncheon with Mrs. Olive Ann Beech, an experience that guides his professional life to this day, as Bob became enthralled with the history and quality of Beech Aircraft.

Bob soon rose to the position of Sales Manager for Page Beechcraft Pistons; then Sales Manager, Northern Division; and finally VP of Sales for the Southern Region responsible for the sale of Beechcraft Pistons and King Airs. In 1988, he became a Beech Factory Direct Salesman.  In the last four years alone, Bob has sold 65 aircraft valued at over $86 million.

In 2009, Bob retired from Hawker Beechcraft Corporation, concluding a 37-year career with having sold over 500 Beech Aircraft and winning nearly every award and accolade the industry can bestow, including Top Beech Salesman and six recent Salesman of the Year Awards.

This new firm brings Bob’s unparalleled expertise and industry contacts to bear on behalf of customers in search of a new or used aircraft worldwide. With each transaction, Bob personally guides his customers through the myriad challenges and complexities encountered in the inspection, purchase or sale of owner flown aircraft, especially of course, Beech Aircraft.
